# Internet connection and bandwidth necessary for VoIP

The minimum required for:


1 concurrent call is 100 kbps up and down. The recommended speed is 3MBps up and down.


3 concurrent calls you'd need at minimum 300 kbps up and down. The recommended speed is still 3 MBps up and down.


10 concurrent calls you'd need a minimum of 1 MBps up and down with a recommended of speed of 5-10 MBps up and down.


Note: the above did not cater for network latency.
